Skilled in microscope-enhanced dentistry, Dr. Chan provides patient diagnosis and treatment across a range of service areas. He also plays a large role in dental laboratory operations for our practice –– setting up patient cases, fabricating dental appliances and ensuring that all items are produced with quality and accuracy.
From 2012 through 2013, Dr. Chan was a volunteer instructor at the University of Southern California (USC) Emergency Dental Clinic. There, he taught groups of USC dental students going through their emergency rotation training.
Dr. Chan earned his DDS degree at the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he received an International Congress of Oral Implantologists and CAMLOG USA pre-doctoral award for excellence in dental implant studies. Earlier, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of California San Diego.
In 2015, Dr. Chan completed the LLUSD and AAID Implant MaxiCourse,® a 300-hour continuing education program presented by Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and the American Association of Implant Dentistry. The program trains general dentists in implant diagnostics, planning, placement and restoration.
In his spare time, Dr. Chan enjoys hiking, golfing and playing the guitar.
